Spring Fling

I'm sitting here at 9:29 a.m. on a Friday morning, drinking coffee and lovingly yelling up the stairs to wake my sleeping children.  Oh summer time, you are here.  And as usual, these pictures have been loaded on here for weeks and I'm just getting around to the writing part. It's going to be short and sweet because I have a to-do list a mile long today.  I have a feeling today is the day I will kindly remind my kiddos that just because school is out, doesn't mean mom and dad don't have to work.  A courthouse visit for an auction and running around town doing pay roll will be just how they will want to spend their day I'm sure. ;)

Here's a look at our Spring...

SO, SO proud of this kid for trying new things.  4th grade was certainly the year of, "Sure, I'll try it." Track was not his favorite, so this may have been his first and last but honestly he comes by that naturally.  I'm a firm believer you should only run if being chased.

Easter fingernails.  I took Keatyn to get her nails painted to match her Easter dress and she absolutely loved it.  And the nail polish lasted for over a week which was a miracle and totally worth the $5.

Easter Eggstravaganza on the ballfields...

Love these Rodger girls and their mommy and daddy!

We stopped to see Little Man afterwards...
Easter morning goodies...

The sun was SO bright and in our eyes but I love this beautiful cross outside of church.  Had to have a picture...

Easter dinner at Nana and Papaw's house...

This was the coolest event.  We were honored to be apart of the C.A.S.T. day where fishermen took out a disabled child for a morning on the water.  Liberty is 12 and is a paraplegic after being hit by a car at 6.  She is AMAZING and is going to be famous one day for sure.  She is Little Miss Wheelchair 2016 and her platform is properly handicapped accessible schools.  She rock climbs, water skis and plays basketball.  Amazing, I'm telling you!

Kindergarten cuties!

Field Day...

Our attempt at a garden.  Only time will tell...

2nd Annual Derby Party...

This is the sweetest tradition at CCS.  For Mother's Day, the Kindergarten classes host a Spa Day for the moms.  The kids get so excited and it is precious!

If you could just see the glitter that is embedded into my forehead wrinkles, you would cry.
Mother's Day photo shoot attempt...

It was a fantastic Spring and we are excited for the Summer.  I'm sure I'll ask myself, "Is it August yet?" plenty of times but I'm so happy to have these munchkins home with me.  I'm one blessed mama!
