Summer time fun

We are back in full swing of school but summer was so much fun and will not be forgotten.  Two great trips and lots of swimming (and swimmers ear.)  Here's a last look of summer...

Sisty snapped this of Trace and Gracie at one of his lessons. He's really enjoying learning to ride.

Sadie after running through the freshly mowed grass!  Our little leprechaun...
It was about half way through the summer before the pontoon boat was fixed and up and running. We didn't get to spend nearly as much time on it as we had hoped but we made the most of it.
Alex and Emerson (with a broken arm) joined us one day...

Swimming at Carol's with Sam and Maddux...
Ethan's 1st birthday party at Carol and Larry's...

Since we missed the 4th of July in Alabama because we were in NY, the kids and I went down for the night to see all the cousins.  Trace, Nelson and I stayed at the Marriott and Keatyn spent the night with Mallory.  They all came over to the Marriott the next day to swim and we had a ball.

Celebrating sweet Brady's birthday...

Both kids tried the knee board and popped right up.  The second picture is Keatyn's legs when she face planted the first time she tried it.  SO FUNNY!!

The week before school started, we took Timber and headed to Cape San Blas FL.  We stayed the first night in Port St. Joe.  This was a beautiful place in a beautiful house right on the ocean.  It was a wonderful week I will never forget.  I love seeing different places and traveling with my crew.

We started every day and ended every night on this porch with this view...

Low country boil on the deck...

We celebrated Jimmy's 48th birthday while we were there.  We started with a horse back ride on the beach.  Cape San Blas is one of the only beaches that still allow horses.

And oysters at Indian Pass for his birthday dinner...

Our attempt to get the candles lit and carried out to the porch for Jimmy to blow them out didn't work with the ocean breeze.  Keatyn thought this was hilarious!

It was a wonderful summer with my people!  I can't wait for the next one.
