Life Lately

It's been awhile.  I've somehow blinked and school started, first 9 weeks is complete and we are a week away from Thanksgiving and I haven't even posted the back to school pictures.  So here goes... our life lately.
Updated to say it's now AFTER Thanksgiving and I forgot to hit "publish."  Sheesh...

The day before school started I took my girl to get her hair cut and we got our nails done.  The stylist went on and on about her pretty hair and asked if she could curl it.  Keatyn was loving it and look how pretty!

She is SO ticklish she could hardly sit for the pedicure.  She seriously about fell out of the chair.
First day of 2nd grade!
First day of Middle School!  What?!?  How in the world did that happen so fast?

We promised Trace a phone before school started and I literally pushed it until the last minute.  I'm still on the fence about it, it's a curse and a blessing.

Trace played his first year of tackle football.  They started practicing back in early summer (at 7:30 in the morning!)

Playing in Iris' pool before a football game one day after school.

Back to Ms. Iris' for Olivia's 8th birthday.  We got to spend a lot of time this summer at the Rodgers Resort.  My kids think it's a vacation destination.  LOL!

Keatyn did a commercial in class about the history of Chattanooga where she got to play the Southern Bell Riverboat Captain.
A few weeks ago, Cristin, Iris, Hailey and I took our girls to see Wizard of Oz and then out to dinner at Taco Mamacita.  Love making memories with them!

Keatyn got to play soccer for CCS when they opened it up for 2nd graders.  She loved it!

The week before Halloween, Trace had a sleepover and had to try on his new costume. A 7 foot T Rex.

Halloween night we went Trick or Treating through Ramsgate and had a ball!

Getting our spa on...

Homecoming week, Keatyn dressed up like a flapper.  That is Sisty's dress cinched up in the back.

This is way out of order, but in September my girls took our annual trip to Chateau Elan in Atlanta.  We left early Friday morning and stopped to shop in Calhoun and then at a bathing suit shop in Woodstock.  We grabbed lunch before heading to Chateau Elan.

We spent Saturday at the Spa there and ate lots of amazing food.  I love these girls so much!

Trace and Sisty playing a little golf after school....

On Fall Break, I took Emerson and Keatyn to Build A Bear and then to stay at Sisty's for a sleepover because Trace had been home sick for several days.  He literally ran a fever for 8 days... Fall Break wasn't much fun.

Fall Festival at school...
On October 15th, we celebrated this sweet ladies 90th birthday!!

A few days later, Nanny fell in her bathroom and had to spend a night at the hospital and then a week at Healthsouth.  We used that time to get her moved into the Regency House, an assisted living.  It was way past time to do it, but she really wanted to stay in her home as long as she could.  We were so thankful she wasn't hurt and is somewhere safe where people can watch her all the time!  Love this amazing lady so much!

That's life lately!
