A Hawaiian Halloween

Aloha!!
We decided to bring the Hawaiian islands to Hixson this Halloween.  Thanks to Uncle Andy and Aunt Kadi bringing the kids these outfits from Natalie's wedding a few years ago.  It cost me $6 from Party City for a lei, flowery barrette and a straw hat and...presto.
 "Cheeeeese..."
Even the Hawaiian's have the occasional meltdown.
Since Carrie and Keith moved and are no longer in a big neighborhood to trick or treat, everyone came here and ate, then we loaded up and headed to Kadi's parents house in Valleybrook.
 Love it!
Keatyn's costume was a little too nipply for trick or treating, so we bundled her up and she instantly became a fleecy flower.
I put Trace's long john pj's and a turtleneck under his hawaiian shirt and changed his bermudas to full length pants.  It kinda lost the island effect, but he pulled it off.

 The witches of Eastwick...
Lucas was a ghost and Abram was a ghostbuster It was adorable! Eli was a power ranger and Natalie was Aladdin (I think?)  Jeff terrified the kids with his werewolf mask, therefore Jimmy (who was just Jimmy) had to hold Keatyn in order to get her in the picture.  ha!

We got to Valleybrook and met up with Andy, Kadi, Otis, and Lincoln, who were also decked out in the Hawaii 5-0 theme.

Kadi let Keatyn hold and eat a full size Butterfinger which totally solidified her as Keatyn's favorite (and only) Aunt!  :)

Halloween was a success!!  We have a pillowcase of candy to prove it.
(Which I may or may not have been scrounging through at 6 a.m.this morning, while hiding from my children in the pantry.)
